Maintaining the Total Alkalinity within the correct range is the key to water balancing. Low Total Alkalinity will cause hot tub water to become corrosive and potentially damaging to the equipment and surface, it will also cause the pH to fluctuate widely.
The ideal pool or swim spa TA level is 80 – 150mg/l (ppm).
Use :
- Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10lts) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Carefully add the resulting solution to the pool whilst the pump(s) are turned “on”, preferably near to the water inlets to aid distribution.
- The total amount of TA Raiser can be applied in one application unless metals are present in pool water.
