surespa Spa Filter Cleaner Powder effectively removes oils, grease, dirt and, particularly, scale from hot tub filter cartridges. Powder filter cleaners are usually much better at removing the scale that quickly clogs up the pores in the filtration medium than liquids or sprays are.

This 500g pot is sufficient for at least 10 cleans and comes with a 10g measuring spoon to ensure that you use the correct amount.

surespa Spray Filter Cleaner makes it easy to clean right down between the pleats and eliminates the need to soak your hot tub filters for an extended period.

It will quickly remove dirt, grease, a light scale build-up from your hot tub filters, but if you live in a very hard water area surespa Spa Filter Cleaner Powder will do a better job on the scale.

Ensure that you rinse your filter well after cleaning to avoid water foaming.

surespa Filter Cartridge Cleaner is a one-use concentrated liquid filter cleaner to remove oil and grease from your filter cartridges by overnight soaking.

Maintaining the Total Alkalinity within the correct range is the key to water balancing when you are using either Chlorine or Bromine as your sanitiser. Low Total Alkalinity will cause the pH to fluctuate widely and make consistent balancing impossible. Alkalinity that is too high will make it impossible to adjust the pH.

Always adjust the Total Alkalinity before anything else.

Hot tub water with a pH that is too high can significantly reduce the efficiency of Chlorine and Bromine making your hot tub unsafe to use.

surespa pH Reducer will bring the pH down to the level required by your sanitiser and also help to avoid potential problems caused by limescale build-up.

surespa pH Reducer can also be used to reduce the TA if required.

In addition to reduced sanitiser efficiency, symptoms of low pH in hot tub water include skin and eye irritation, excessive sanitiser use and potential corrosion of the pumps and heater with pitting or etching on the spa shell surface.

If the pH of your water is below 7.2 it is important to raise it using pH Increaser.

surespa ScaleAway helps to prevent and remove scale deposits which can build up rapidly on spa surfaces, particularly at high water temperatures and when the spa water is particularly hard.

Calcium hardness is the measure of how much lime (calcium) is dissolved in your water.

The hardness of your spa water will be overwhelmingly influenced by the hardness of the mains water supply to your home and that is dependent on where you live and the source of your water supply.

If you live in the South of England, you most likely have hard water, with lots of calcium dissolved in your source water. If you live in Scotland, Wales or the North of England, you most likely have soft water with a very low amount of calcium in your water.

Hot tub water with very low total hardness (very soft water) can cause etching to occur on the tub surfaces which will become abrasive and uncomfortable for bathers.

Cloudy hot tub water is often caused by minute particles suspended in the water which are too small for the filtration system to remove. Surespa Spa Sparkle is a concentrated formula that binds together these small particles of contaminants in your hot tub water so that they can be trapped and removed by the filter.

The result is hot tub water that is sparkling clear.

This product will enhance the performance of your filter and prolong it's life.

Regular removal of the biofilm that builds up inside hot tub plumbing should form a regular and important part of your hot tub maintenance routine.

Biofilm is by far the biggest source of bacteria in hot tubs and, if it's not removed regularly, you will find that you need more and more sanitiser to cope with the increasing bacteria levels.

surespa Surface Cleaner is a powerful, non-foaming cleaner that is compatible with all hot tub water sanitising systems.

Just put a small amount on a cloth and wipe around the surface of your hot tub.

This product will remove biofilm, scum lines and scale deposits.

Foaming in hot tub water can be caused by significant organic matter from bathers entering the water after heavy use. It is also often caused by make-up, body lotions and other contaminants that really shouldn't be allowed to enter the water at all.

surespa FoamAway has been especially formulated to damp down foaming that occurs when the jets are turned on in contaminated water.

Anti-foam inevitably dulls the water and is best avoided if possible. If your water is foaming first make sure that the problem cannot be rectified by shocking the water and cleaning the filters.
